Furniture Miniature Workshop
Hands On Furniture Workshop
About The Workshop
This workshop revolves around re-creating an existing designer furniture, mostly a chair, as it is the most complex of all furniture pieces, over a span of five full working days.
We will have a set of design drawings from which the participant can choose.
(They also have the liberty to bring their own drawing from any designer they like, the drawing has to be on a scale of 1:5. The design has to use wood as the primary material, as it is a woodworking workshop.)
Who Can Join?
Anyone who is keen in learning furniture making and woodworking, there are no prerequisites. However if you have had any making experience before that becomes a plus for the workshop.
Learning From The Workshop
This will give you an insight in the world of furniture design, making a miniature is almost equivalent to making a full scale furniture, just in birds view perspective, giving you better control and understanding.
